STOP MOTION TEST (IMPOSSIBLE WALK CYCLE)
Stop motion experiment with impossible walk cycles with Sonya. This was really enjoyable and it made me happy to make something so bizarre even if it required a lot of well timed jumps.
BACKGROUND TEST 1
Testing different types of background. Ink VS card. I noticed that the texture of the card creates an interesting sort of static effect in the background and this is when I began testing with the cutout star background and the aluminium foil underneath.
SOUND OF SILENCE
Sound of wine glass rim mimicking a faint ringing in the ears that would inevitably appear even if you are in a soundproof room. (Turn up the volume please its very quiet!
OVERLAYING LIGHT EFFECTS THROUGH STAR CUTOUT CARD
I recorded how the light passes through the card on a sunny day as I was always intrigued by how light interacts with the card/the card casting shadow and leaving the warped shapes behind. This shadow on the wall is the result of that test. I put this over my animation and lowered the opacity so that an ethereal effect was created.
